Royal Melbourne Golf Club is Australia's top ranked golf course. This Golf Club was founded in 1891 and it is Australia's oldest golf club having long flourished and retained the original name. In 1901, the golf course was moved to a rugged wilderness in the suburbs next to a race track, marking the birth of sand golf. 20th century 20's, the club moved again to its current location - Black Rock, and hired McKenzie to preside over the design. McKenzie located the fairway and holes in the Ironwood between the bushes and mimosa, creating a very strategic layout, the specially dig fan-shaped bunkers and manicured, undulating putting green are woven together to form unprecedented for a major feature.
