In any golf course ranking in the world, the old stadium will be in the top 10 list. It is so special links course, because it is the works of Mother Nature. Description has been too much about it: the world's most famous links course, golf's holy sites. In the 12th century, golf has been here already, but obviously, it is actually the oldest golf course.
1553. Archbishop of St Andrews really allowed carrying golf out in the links course. In 1754, St. Andrews golfers clubs were established. 10 years later, the original 22 holes here was reduced to 18 holes. 1834, William IV granted the golf course Royal court and St. Andrews golfers association officially changed its name to the Royal and Ancient Golf Association. This is the world's oldest existing band "Royal" title in the golf organization. In 1867, the first women's golf clubs are set up here.
