Westin Turnberry Resort – Ailsa

Ailsa Turnberry golf course is the most famous championship course, and it is also considered Scottish Pebble Beach. At the right side of the course is Irish Sea. As a seaside links course, the scenery of Ailsa course is beautiful, the rock like stars around the sea is also unique golf course scenery. Meanwhile, the fourth and 11th holes golf course is close to the beach, this is the most challenging golf course and view of the hole, of course, the wind is the biggest challenge.
Turnberry Golf Club was founded in 1902, and Ailsa is the third championship course. With the Turnberry Hotel opened in recent years and convenient Metro near this golf course, more fans from around the world reserve this place.
Turnberry golf course can be called a classic textbook golf course. It once had a role as the Air Force during World War II and some fairways and holes were nearly changed.
