George Golf Club is one of South Africa's oldest golf clubs. It has been being into the top ten golf course of South Africa for many years and is the best course South Cape Town.
Course is designed by the Charlotte Mote Nuo Murray, with a nearby mountain called Otney exaggerated picture. Fairways vary according to situation and more dark green lines which cause golfers considerable difficulties.
The greatest charm of this course is a natural landscape, rich vegetation and Outeniqua Mountain. Many local players think it is more beautiful than Fancout golf cours. Court also held the South African Amateur Championship for many years
